One morning, 37 year old Jill Bolte Taylor woke up to learn she was having a massive stroke. While this realization would have terrified most, Taylor’s response was, and I quote: “This is so cool! How many brain scientists have the opportunity to study their own brain from the inside out?”

Her TED talk was hands down the most fascinating and moving I have ever seen.
